SIT students and staff can use the subscribed e-Resources for educational purpose, including but not limited to the followings:

• Stream video from subscribed databases in class
• Students use the subscribed videos for learning both on campus and off campus

Educational Screenings of Netflix Documentaries

Some Netflix Original educational documentaries are available for one-time educational screenings, e.g., in the classroom, at the next meeting of your community group, with your book club, etc. Click here for more information. 

If you would like students to view a Netflix Documentary outside lesson time and some students do not have personal Netflix account, please contact Library for the one-time educational screening.

Free Online Resources

Instructors can examine the terms of use for the free online materials before the video streaming. The proposed Copyright Bill (Singapore) includes a new exception for use (limited to reproduce, adapt or communicate) of free online works and recordings for educational uses (including research) relating to not-for-profit educational institutions. It will require the user to acknowledge the source of the online work or recordings.
