A permalink is a web address that will link directly to a resource such as an eBook, a journal article, or a video.

Please note that you cannot share the content of a library database in the same way that you would share the content of many websites. This is because database licensing agreements restrict access to authorised users only. If you wish to share the content of a library database for educational, scholarly, or research purposes, we suggest you use a persistent proxied link.

Permalinks or persistent links are also known as durable links, sharing links, or stable links.
