Q. Why does the Dobot Magician start moving from a point that is off-center?

You may need to recalibrate the default "Home" coordinates, which is the rest position that the Dobot Magician will return to.

To do so, try the following:

1. Refresh the browser page for DobotLab.
2. Check that the DobotLink connection is started. Click the "DobotLink not started" message or the link icon.
3. First, clear the physical table space area of obstacles in the Dobot Magician's movement radius. Then click the "set home" icon. The Dobot Magician arm will swivel from left to right to calibrate before returning to a new start position.
