Including a facilitated discussion, workshop, or sharing session may help demonstrate educational intent. However, this alone does not determine whether a film can be screened without permission. If a discussion or workshop is included, it should be clearly planned, central to the event, and treated as part of the overall activity rather than something added on just to support the screening.

Even with these measures in place, copyright licensing requirements (eg. Public performance rights) may still apply.
